Do you handle India compliance and payroll for foreign companies?
Yes. We onboard engineers under our Indian entity and handle PF, ESI, Professional Tax, TDS, GST, Shops & Establishment registration, gratuity provisioning and monthly filings — so US and EU clients can run an offshore pod without setting up an Indian entity themselves.
What is the difference between staff augmentation, project outsourcing and Build-Operate-Transfer (BOT)?
Staff augmentation places vetted engineers as embedded members of your team — you direct the work, we handle employment. Project outsourcing transfers scope to us against a defined deliverable. Build-Operate-Transfer combines both: we hire and operate an offshore pod under our entity, with a planned transfer of staff and processes into your own Indian subsidiary at an agreed milestone.
How long does it take to hire an offshore engineer through Primary IT Care?
Specialist placements (Azure AVD, senior Laravel, senior Flutter, dedicated DevOps) typically complete inside four to six weeks of a clear brief. Recent placements have seen over 100 applications screened per role before any candidate reaches the client.
How do you vet candidates?
Every candidate goes through resume relevance screening, an asynchronous technical assessment, a system-design conversation with our internal lead, and a final interview with the client's hiring manager. The funnel is designed to filter for production experience in long-lived codebases, not just certifications.
Do you manage laptops, MDM and asset recovery for offshore teams?
Yes. We procure laptops to client spec, image and enrol them in the client's MDM tenant, courier them to engineers, maintain the asset register against the client's HR system, and handle recovery, wipe and redeployment at offboarding.
What time-zone overlap do your engineers offer?
Most placements include four to five hours of working overlap with US Eastern or Central European time. Standup-driven teams adjust hours within reason; on-call coverage can be structured separately.
How do you handle IP, NDA and data security?
Standard practice: mutual NDA at first contact, IP assignment clauses in employment contracts, client-controlled MDM on every laptop, source code resident only in client systems, and termination of access tied to client HR exit events. Specific requirements (HIPAA, DPDP, GDPR) are scoped into the engagement.
